HISTORICAL BACLGROUND
Dutsi LGEA was founded in December 1996 following the creation of local Government late General Sani Abacha. It was curved out from Mashi Local Government.

ROLE OF TRADITIONAL RULERS.
Our Royal Father contribute immensely to the development of Education in the Government especially in the area of discipline, enrolment drive, public enlightment campaign against drop out and truancy of children in schools.
ROLE OF PTA
The PTA contributes financially and gives advices to the community and teachers. They the habit of visiting schools make recommendation where necessary.
UBEC PROJECT
Dutsi Pilot Primary School: One block of three classrooms, office and store with teachers and pupils furniture.
Yotso primary school: One block of three classrooms, office and store with teachers and pupils furniture.

Chairman PTA Nasarawa Rehabilitation/Renovation Alhaji Isah Mai Bread Nasarawa personally, purchase machine in large quantity and donated them to Pilot primary school Faskari in 2004.
CONTRIBUTION OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT
Between 1999-2000 the local Government Chairman Alhaji Sa’idu Umar took the responsibility of paying the common Entrance Examination (SCEE) and Science and Technical Board Examination fees.
Alh. Sani Musa Yankara in 2001 – 2002 as the sole administrator continued with the payment of Examination fees of SCEE and STEB fees.
From 2003 to date Alhaji Nafi’u Garba Faskari took over the payment of SCEE and STEB for primary six pupils. In addition to the following: .
a. Supply of 5000 number of 40 leaves exercise books and 5000 number of C.A Booklets, provision of uniforms to 27 numbers of cleaners, laborers, watchmen messengers of the LGE.
b. General rehabilitation of the LGEA secretariat
C. Provision of Furniture, Office Curtains and Electrification LGEA
D. Donation of the 1 Number Toyota car to the LGEA
E. Payment of 40,000 as registration fees for National Common Entrance examination and assisted the successful candidates with N10, 000 each
f. Supply of N10,000 copies of 40 leaves exercise books, 3000 copies of weekly diary and 4000 copies of Hausa textbooks.
g. Rehabilitation and provision of furniture to primary schools.
h. Recruitment of 333 casual teachers
i. Construction of 14 No. Blocks of two classrooms in Primary Schools across the LGEA
j. Sponsored 2 days workshop for head teachers and teachers on schools management record keeping.
k. Supply of 5000 copies of modernized teachers notebooks and 3000 copies of attendance register.
UBE/WORLD BANK
UBEC/World Bank through self-help donated the sum of (N400,000) Forty Thousand Naira to Daudawa Model Primary School to construct pupils and teachers furniture’s in the year 2002.
Also donated the sum of seventy thousand Naira (70,000) to faskari model as Focus School to construct pupils, teachers and head teacher furniture in the year 2003.
Through self-help, UBEC/World Bank project donated the sum of thirty thousand (30,000) each to nine Primary Schools in the LGEA for either construction of toilets, pupils’ teachers furniture or rehabilitation of school. Total amount N2, 7000, 000; 0K was disbursed to the nine schools for the 2004.
They also donated the sum of sixty thousand naira (60,000) to five primary schools in the LGEA for either construction of toilet, concrete well and both teacher/pupil furniture totaling to Three Million Naira (3,000,000.00k) for the five primary schools in 2005/2006.

AWARD RECEIVED BY LGEA IN QUIZ AND DEBATE COMPETITIONS
2002: LGEA took 3 rd position at Zonal Quiz competition which took place at Safana. Books writing materials were given to the participants as prize.
2003: 1 st positions at zonal level prizes were distributed to the participants and the best Education secretary in the zone.
2004: 2 nd position in the state level Debate competition
2005: 2 nd position at zonal level.
